Where do the rewards come from?
During the initial sale of Pirate NFTs, 50% of the amount obtained is staked on the Lottery address. In exchange for staking this amount on various validators that secure the transactions of the blockchain, the network generates rewards that are redistributed to 80% of the winners of the draw. The remaining 20% is used to increase the amount of staked tokens and this progressively increase the rewards distributed to winners.
Do I have to enter every draw?
No, you simply need to keep one of the Pirate NFTs in your wallet, to automatically enter the draws.
What are my odds to win?
Each NFT has as much chance of winning than the others, so the more Pirate NFTs you have, the better your chances of winning.
The chance of winning an NFT is divided by the number of participants at the time of the draw.How do I get my rewards?
Once the winners are drawn, their rewards are automatically sent to their addresses. To see the transactions, you can check the draw history page or the transactions made by the robot address, or else on the discord channel.
What is the "reward APR"?
The rewards for the draws depend on the APR of the Stargaze blockchain. As stated in the light paper, the percentage determined by the network is used to determine the frequency of the draws.
How to check the result of a draw?
The algorithm and parameters used to perform the draw are publicly available. For more information, you can consult the light paper to find the algorithm and the parameters used. A sample script is also available on https://github.com/FoxinouFR/starsdraw-results and can be used to test the result of any draw.
Why don't I see any transactions in my address history?
Depending on the blockchain explorer, the lottery transactions may not be visible in your history because the bot uses the Authz module of the Cosmos SDK. To check the transactions, check the history of the address used by the robot or the list of draws available on this site.
